Request to Devs - Research Multiplier

Hi.

Once again my factory is redundant before it is finished - sorta.. While clearing out biters I finished the tech tree, and I only had 22 labs, which is a good-ish amount, but certainly not excessive.

Sure i still have to actually build some rockets, but still, the end of the tech tree makes the game a bit flat.

I realise that infinite research is coming that will give something to put beakers into in future, but I have another, simple request.

When setting up a map please can we have an entry for a research multiplier to simply provide a flat multiplier to ALL research, I'm thinking something I can set to x5, x10 or even x100. You can still show the numbers in the tech tree the same (so rocketry is still 1000), just apply the preset multiplier behind the scenes to extend the time so we can appreciate the middle of the tech tree for longer if we want to.

Even with infinite research there is a lot of leapfrogging of lower techs (modular armour with solar cells anyone ?) and a simple multiplier will enable us to customise the game more to our liking.
