Mouse causing freezes/hitches with certain windows open

Haven't been able to find any posts about this issue anywhere, so here it is.

So I'm having this strange issue where if I have either the power management window, production window or power armor window open my game will freeze/hitch whenever I move my mouse, at a normal speed anyway. The work around I have been using is to really slowly move my mouse, which doesn't seem to cause any freezing. This issue does not manifest in any other window. My friend I play multiplayer with does not get this problem, however I get it in both single and multiplayer.

The game is still completely playable and runs flawlessly as long as I have none of those windows open, it's just very annoying at times(e.g if I want to quickly swap out my personal roboports for energy shields during a fight, I pretty much risk dying as my game freezes and hitches constantly) and I have no idea what could even be causing this. I've tried messing around with a bunch of the ingame graphics settings and updating my drivers, I'm not sure if it's even a graphics-related problem at this point though.

At time of writing, running Factorio version 0.14.16.
