The idea is basically in the title. Whether it be magazines or cannon shells or crude oil barrels... Basically turrets on rails
I have some experience with Lua, but never tried modding factorio... Is this a wild goose chase? or would there be a chance it's possible, looking into it? (If someone made it first or wanted to help, that would be awesome too.)

I do mods. Modding wiki is friend, it teaches how to mod. Api docs is friend too...
I also update mods, some of them even work.

In topic under latest FF kovarex entioned artilliery trains. So something official might be coming our way in this regard.
