Can't play the game. Graphics glitched/missing. (RESOLVED)

Hi everyone,

To start, I have tried everything in the 'broken graphics' thread. I'm not sure what to do next.

I'm trying to play Factorio on Steam. When I open the game, it seems to load normally (but slowly) until I get to the menu. Then this happens.



If I fumble around the menus, I can get to the actual game. It looks like this.




I've also tried uninstalling and resinstalling the game, and verifying the game's integrity on steam.

So what do I do next? Thanks!

Can you try to add --force-d3d to the launch options in Factorio's Properties (in your Steam library) ?

Hey, sorry for the delay. I've been having internet problems for the past few days.

I did, however, try this solution. And it worked! Thanks for your help.
