Hello,
I bought Factorio on GOG.com and successfully launched my first rocket after 50+ hours (Yay!)
Now I tried grabbing some mods from mods.factorio.com but there is no way for me to download from the portal thanks to me not having any kind of option to verify that I own a licensed copy of the game. (the insufficient privileges problem)
I would just like to know if I'm screwed thanks to me preferring games DRM free or if there is some sort of schedule to allow the people who honestly acquired the game on GOG to gain access to the mods? Especially since mods are usually at the heart of keeping a game interesting and add tons of replay value.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Cheers

Hi,
You can redeem a retail key from GOG, which you can use to upgrade your account

Gee, thanks! It worked!!!
OK, for other people, you need to go to the Website
https://www.gog.com/account
Click Factorio and then go to more/serial Key.
This option is NOT available on GOG Galaxy 1.1.12 (Windows) you need to access the website (which I forgot to try -,-)
Cheers
