Enemies killing each other

So with my Natural Evolution Enemies mod, something seems to have changed from 0.12 to 0.13.
Enemies seem to be killing each other. A all out civil war breaks out and I can't figure out why....

I changed nothing in the code to affect this. It did not happen in 0.12.
The only reason is if Forces of units change, right?
But it does not seem to be happening everywhere...

I can't figure it out and was hoping someone could help out.

I was wondering if a spitter, with a cloud accidentally hurts another unit, and then that sparks it??
I saw units attacking rocks if it's in their path. so they can start attacking it and thus hurt other units.

Help would be appreciated!

Far as I can tell, biters retaliate against whatever attacks them. Poison clouds or splash damage means that they hit each other, even by accident, so they retaliate vs each other after the player or other stuff is gone.

Actually the main bug is that those biter wars leave hundreds of artifacts laying on the map in various places.
They should not drop stuff if biter kills biter from same force.
