robotport priority pertsonal / normal

Post by binbinhfr »

Hi,

I don't know if it's a bug, but apparently, when i place a bluprint, items are requested in priority from the normal network, and not from my personal roboport and inventory.
I often find it strange, epecially when the normal network is so huge and the "normal" robots have to request the items in chests that are very far, despite the fact I have them available in my inventory.
Here : https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-92 it's written that personal roboport has the priority. It does not seem to be the case, or maybe, it was changed ?

Your personal robots have priority but if you don't have enough it falls back to the main network and assigns the jobs to them.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Well it seems that I understand what happens : when using a very large blueprint (for my large solar farm), my personal robots cover the range of my personal roboport, and the rest of the blueprint is affected at the normal robots, even if I move my character to cover the missing range... The blueprint affected to normal robots are not reaffected to personal robots if they become in range. That could be something great to implement.
