I just updated to version 0.12.35 (Build18124, win65, alpha), and have RSO installed.
when i walk to the edge of the revealed map the chunks do not reveal themselves in the minimap and any area not revealed on the minimap remains blank and doesn't seem to generate as seen the attached picture
I have tried restarting the game, uninstalling RSO and generating a new map with the same seed (which had the same problem)

Please provide the map exchange string (you can obtain it by marking a savegame in the load-game menu and clicking on the button in the lower left).

Not only does it not show the area beyond the border on the map, it does not even put anything in it, no trees, no water, biters, nothing, but only for this save, if I start a game with the same map exchange string it works fine so either the mod or the update of the map screwed up the save.

There's no bug, you just didn't look up north high enough to see the map being charted for the area you requested.

But there is no bug... you asked the game to chart a 10,000^2 area of tiles and it can only generate and chart those chunks so fast. it's working fully as intended and would eventually generate and chart the entire area should you leave it running long enough.Stryke wrote:The joys of intermittent bugs
