Multiplayer on Mac with sound possible?

Multiplayer on Mac with sound possible?

Connecting to multiplayer works perfectly on the macintosh - but - I want to avoid for security reasons to install non-Appstore apps like teamspeak to be able to talk with other players. Is there a recommended / secure download app for the mac to download a teamspeak alternative or is there a secure teamspeak download a site?
