Mods Mismatched but same version?

Mods Mismatched but same version?

Steam keeps it updated. No mods installed on host or client. But we can not connect because "mods are mismatched Same version mod detected". I tried connecting to public dedicated servers and I get the same message. We both tried deleting and reinstalling local files.

I downloaded the installer from the Factorio website and it seems to work well. Steam version not so stable?

It is, but if you don't enable experimental versions on Steam, you'll have version mismatch with the one on website.
