The game increases the enemy difficulty the further out you get which makes it hard for you to start somewhere else and this would be fine but, if you die, you respawn at one global location, so I'm stuck going all the way back to where he is or he is stuck coming all the way back to where I am. I also don't want to leave the spawn area and set up a base where all the enemies around me are 10x stronger for me having just started out. I hope that someone here can understand my request and offer up some suggestions or if there isn't any mod that can help with this, then if it would be possible to create it?

Oooh, one theory I have for this, is to give each player a "playerspawnmaker" which is a pad that you place down and it alters the terrain around it to give that player a random spawn type setting. Setting the server's setting for spawns to the sector like setting clearing all enemies from around it and placing some default resources based on the servers settings. It won't replace any other terrain, except for making a small patch of water (if the server has that setting) somewhere within the spawn area. That could work, and then each player just needs to take their spawn pad somewhere they want to settle at and place it down. It should not do any of this if placed within 6 sectors of a player owned structure, or within 10 sectors of another player's spawn. Player should also be considered immortal and unseeable to enemies until he has placed his pad, also unable to mine or do anything except place that pad. Only after he places it does the spawn script run and he gets his normal supplies and then the game lets him do stuff.
Just throwing another idea out there on how to do it. As I really want separate bases for everyone so we can all start out somewhere different and eventually meet each other and share/trade resources.

Another thought/idea I had towards this same thing.
It would be nice if we could have the game spawn us in a random location 15-20 sectors (or a set amount in config) away from player structures around spawn.

On top of that, it would be great if there could be a timer at which is placed before the map will let the player explore beyond the sectors he was given, and other players will be unable to enter that territory too. It'll show up as black area on their end and everything outside will appear black to the player who owns that chunk.
And an option should be added so that players can separate research from each other should they want. This idea/mod request may end up moved into normal ideas and suggestions for the game.
