Sounds pretty interesting! Defy another use for those resources. Would love to see some stats and picture though. :)

The stone wall is also called "Steinwand" so i called the new walls also "Wand" but yes "mauer" would be better

One thing you're missing, is gates. Gates that go with the current tier of wall. Basically, I'm using stone strength gates with your concrete walls and aliens just bust through that like tissue paper late game. I'd like it if aliens didn't scrape me off their foot using that old broken down door anymore! Can you add gates for each tier of wall? :P

Also, some other thoughts.
Can you make the current walls weaker? Then add some new walls.
For example, your copper wall has 650 HP, I think. While stone has 300. Rename Copper Wall, to "Copper Reinforced Wall" and give it 150 more HP than stone wall, making it 450. Then, add a new wall, Copper Wall, that requires copper and possibly some other things, but no stone wall. So essentially the wall is entirely made of copper instead of coated in a copper skin. And give this wall 650 HP.
I can come up with ideas for balance on all the others if you want, but yea. Just a thought is all.

Yes, I thought about it. Gates will appear in a future update.

Yes, on balance, I also still working and tested in real conditions. Current balance - a first approximation, chosen at random. Thanks for suggestions!

I think I've found either a bug with this mod or a buggy interaction with Vanilla+:
if you have steel walls placed and mine them(As well as iron I think.) they give copper walls.
PC is best.

instead of having the biters attack the copper walls, how about having them stolen by the biters, which they would sell on their black market? ^.^

(news report tonight about some people stealing a bunch of copper scrap from a large construction site nearby...)

I found a bug:
If you place a steel wall, and it gets damaged, and if you put it in your inventory then it turns into copper walls.

EDIT: turns out if you remove ANY steel wall damaged or not the bug still occured.

I've made a quick unofficial fix for the steel wall pickup bug. No version number change, only thing I did was fix it.

No, I do not mind, even grateful. In the near future I will prepare update in new localizations, corrections and dorabotaannym balance.
