Extra dimensions

suggestion for extra dimensions(based off nether in minecraft). could use surfaces? probably not a thing for modders, more for devs... e.g. entities are only interactable with entities on the same surface, use worldgen for each new surface-maybe create an underworld, or another planet or moon where your rocket lands after launch. also, completely irrelevant but the game should play 'Out of the silent planet' by Iron Maiden when you win . that would be EPIC

Guess this falls under the Z levels category.

They're going to add something similar, spaceports (is this the same / similar?) Though kovarex stated it wouldn't be before 1.0

Yeah! I'm definitely interested in the Z axis, so to speak. There's this mod, viewtopic.php?f=97&t=19178, that does something like that.
