lost save
lost save
I recently overwrite a save on factorio by accident and now I want it back anyone know how? ( I have a steam backup but I tried to use it and it didn't work)

Sadly overwritten is overwritten. No chance to get it back

Unless you manually copied it sometimes.
And the steambackup is for the game folder (iirc) and not the %appdata% folder (wich is where the saves are stored), wich is a good thing normally, because you can reinstall your game with it and do not lose your saves.

I do now know that the backup did'nt work because I did it with more than one game so all is lost thanks for trying anyway.
