Wow, I had no idea there was a market like this! I can see this causing trouble for the future, when people will consider not making an app because it probably will get stolen, reskinned and resold. It's just really scummy making money selling work other people did.

I dunno, looks like you'd need sources for this. The article offers some source code collections to buy from. Seems scummy.
Furthermore, they either steal the sources (how?) or buy them legally. I can see how reskinning and reselling stolen stuff is bad, but the stealing itself is the core problem here, not the rest. If they buy sources then who cares. Devs got their revenue they asked for.

In the second link we see a "Triple set" game clones. The game is so old I can really imagine an IDE that lets you make such a game without any coding from your side, pure designing.

So it all comes to users who play shitty games full of ads. Breaking news.

P.S. Also, scummy.
P.P.S Buy our stuff to get rich.

This mostly only applies to mobile apps because the mobile app market has become trash lately. Even legitimate developers are using trashy tactics for revenue. There are a few really big really popular 'top developers' that engage in these sort of tactics. There is one that I can't for the life of me remember what they're called where they've released like 4-5 'hit' games... but they are all the same bloody game with different graphics and maybe slightly different mechanics. But essentially the same game.

I guess that's what happens when you get nobodies trying to make a quick fortune.
