Train Intersection help (solved)

Post by policeiu »

Im still kinda new at this game and so far I'm loving it. However I am having a slight problem with 2 of my major rail lines. I have the signals set right as far as I can tell but all trains present a no path error even thought all signals are green.

I really don't know why they aren't working there is only 1 train per line and no other signals on any of my tracks.
Any help is appreciated!

Signals must always be on the right-hand side of the track. If a train encounters a left-hand signal, it will refuse to use the track.

If you want to make a 2-way track, you need to put a signal on both sides.

Ok I understand what I did now. Thanks! I didn't realize you needed signals on both sides like that. Here is a pick of the solution to anyone else who needs it.

A tiny tip to further improve the intersection, replace the normal signals in front of the intersection with chain signals. That way trains can only enter the intersection block when the block behind the intersection is free and keeps the intersection clear.
