When a headless MP server shuts down (to restart), there is a brief progress bar displayed on connected players' screens before the server disconnects. And then it disconnects. There are no lingering messages saying that the server has disconnected/shutdown.
This is fine, providing you notice it. But on several occasions, several players have been AFK when it happened, and continued to play when returning, not noticing they weren't connected. All the work they put in is wasted since it's only on their local copy.
Can we have a message appear on clients, saying the server has shutdown, and ask if they'd like to try to either: 1. Log back on. 2. Quit to main menu 3. Continue playing on their local copy. And of course, have the game auto-paused the moment the server disconnects?
Thanks, tetryon.
