Crash while "Loading sprites... (Game loading)" (Steam ver)

EDIT: I deleted the game from Steam, and redownloaded/reinstalled on the main SSD ("C:\") as opposed to secondary HDD ("D:\"). It loaded correctly this time. Time to play! I'll keep this post here in case its useful.

Hello!

Just brought the game on Steam.
Hit play.
Loading Gets to 68%? "Loading sprites..."
ERROR: "Sprite outside of "_base_/graphics/entity/splitter/splitter-run-mask.png" (at 80, 89, size, 1x1 of 0x0)." - see attached screenshot.
Crashes to desktop.

There is no log under "D:\SteamGames\steamapps\common\Factorio" (the install directory).

Not sure, but sounds like maybe a file got corrupted. Did you try re-downloading?
If it doesn't help, could be an issue with GPU, so you may want to include GPU model and driver version.

I (edited original post) re-downloaded and re-installed on the main SSD instead of the secondary HDD, and it loaded fine this time.

Graphics card is GTX 970m. Driver is 361.91.

EDIT: Played for 3.5 hours, no problems (awesome game!).
EDIT 2: 8 hours straight, no problems.
