Crash MacOS at 10% 'loading mods' , no config.ini file

It's been a while since i tried playing factorio, and this time through Steam for the first time. I still get the same error as i was getting months ago.
Crash at 10% loading screen with 'loading mods'.
No config.ini file to be found at this stage, possibly because i have not been able to quit te game without crashing?

Any tips would be appreciated!

Try to put attached config file to ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/config/
it sets video-memory-usage=medium, and max-texture-size=4096
