Hey guys iv been playing a few games and im having a few problems with drones.
When i order my contruction drones to remove buildings they will pick them up and just stand there suspended in the air. Till they run out of juice, then they fly to a robot station and hover there all day with their items.
I have notist that they will fly to me if i request the items they are carrying, only this means that my logic bots will also start supplying me, which means im left with a full inventory with stuff i dont need or want.
Another thing i can do but leaves me with the same problem is stetting up requester chests which request the items the "bugged" construction drones are carrying...
Is there a proper way to solve this problem?? I want my construction drones ideally to just drop off the items in a passive chest for my drones to pick up for my next blueprint(s).
Im having the same problem with carry drones when i delete an item request for them when they are halfway to me, sometimes they will deliver the items anyway or they will also stay in the same spot useless doing nothing.
Hoop you guys could help me out!

Construction drones/ transport drones
Re: Construction drones/ transport drones
You need to put down some Storage chests.
Construction robots will only place items in storage chests or in requester chests that have a filter on the item the construction robot is carrying, or to your inventory if requested. If they have no available destination they will keep hovering in the air until you place down some chests/request the items. They will never return items to the provider chest they got it from.
As I've seen this already happening a few times to new players, maybe adding an additional yellow warning to the bottom might be a good idea, like we already have for 'construction robots missing' or 'items missing'.

Wow tnx works perfectly!!! They can even rebuild it by using the same materials from the same chest!

On the subject of chests what does a active provider chest do?

beyond acting like a normal provider, it forces bots to empty them (if there is room in storage)genaraln7 wrote:Yea that would be great or at least a better discricption of what they do:Pdaniel34 wrote:You need to put down some Storage chests.
