Screen lock up but is still playing sound...

...as if moving when keys are pressed.

looked everywhere for something like this to no avail
Tried removing mods/ reinstalling/ new game ect. This has only started with the latest patch (0.12.5) and now if i install .4 the same thing happens

Mobo : ROG Formula V
RAM : 16Gig @1800
GPU :GTX 980
OS : Win 10
Game runs off a SSD
