Create Headless server on VPS

The title says it... i need help, I can Install Ubuntu 14.04 Server but if I follow the instructions from the tutorial it doesn't work so, anyone can help me out??

What tutorial are you using? I assume you're using this one because you mentioned ubuntu 14.04 specifically.
That tutorial is outdated and only valid for 0.11.x.

The wiki shows you how to set up a headless server here.
It has gotten much easier with 0.12.

If you still have problems, please tell us what you already tried and what doesn't work (error messages, crashes, ...)

Hello, thanks for the reply, now it seems that is running, but i'm not able to enter the server, it says this:

so, what do i do now?

The invalid session magic suggests your server is running one game while your client is running another, do you have more than one factorio server on the same network? (ie perhaps several clients behind a nat router or multiple instances on the vps?)
