A person on the discord wanted to have a "fixed" spoil time for their items, but it's currently not really feasible. Bind the freshness at craft start to 1, reduce the 'added freshness' by 1, and assign back to the total stack during a crafting event, like a balance of concentrations with different volumes, but worse, and does not really fit with normal behavior of crafting with spoiling ingredients.
Having a parameter " quality_affects_spoil_ticks " combines existing naming conventions, and accurately describes the behavior that would be desired.
a "quality_affects_spoil_ticks" item prototype parameter to ignore quality
a "quality_affects_spoil_ticks" item prototype parameter to ignore quality
I have mods! I guess!
