Cannot login to account (hacked?)

As of 10/08/2026, I have been unable to login to my main account (username "BraveCaperCat") on the forum.
Instead, I get the message "You have specified an incorrect password. Please check your password and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.", despite using the saved password for my factorio forums account. (which matches the one I remember) The "contact the Board Administrator" link leads to a page saying "The board administrator contact page has been disabled.", which isn't very helpful.

I don't remember what email address I used for that account, since I've used multiple, although I'm guessing that the new account I'm posting this with doesn't use the same email address. It might also be one that I can no longer access, since I've checked most of the emails I still use today and didn't find the activation email for my previous account, although I may have also deleted it at some point. Not to mention that if my account was in fact hacked, the email probably would have been changed.

I am able to login to the main factorio website and the mod portal using my factorio account, it's only my forum account that I'm unable to access. Also, the last time I sent an email to the support email address listed on the contact page, I got no response. (although that was 2 years ago)
That's why I made a second account to contact you here, since I can't post about issues with logging into my account if I can't login to an account to post about it.

I'm hoping to somehow get my original account back so that I can use the forums normally again.
