I didn't see ANY ore on the preview map.
On all three I only see the starting ore in game. Now I have not made a long journey looking for distant ore, but Radar coverage hasn't reviled any new ore deposits.
On the third game after I played a bit, I saved it, disabled RSO, and reloaded the save with RSO disabled. Then I used the console commands to regenerate the resourses on the map. I had ore everywhere.
I will try to do a little more testing later today.
