In the below save and picture there are construction robots flying to a steel chest that has items ghost requested.
Some of the robots have no items in them and have the task listed as "deliver". They go to the steel chest, drop off their 0 items and then fly to a roboport happy with a non-existent job complete.
Is this a known thing that can be caused somehow? I can't reproduce it in a clean test and only seen it in this massive multiplayer speedrun.
The save is attached when these robots start arriving and more continue to arrive if the save is run.
On the save the location on Nauvis is shown below in case it loads you somewhere different.

This happens when the robot is flying to a chest to pick something up, but then an inserter removes the last item from the chest before the robot gets there.

Oh and it then continues on the second half of its journey empty?

Looks like yes. I'll make a note to look at this on Monday since it should be possible to detect the failure to pick up items and cancel dependent jobs at that point without making the desired success-case slower.Muppet9010 wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 3:40 pm Oh and it then continues on the second half of its journey empty?
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
