[2.0.73][mac] Low FPS with inventory open

What did you do?
I open my inventory menu.

What happened?
The framerate craters from a solid 60 down to 17 or so, even on an entirely fresh, new run. It remains this bad while the inventory menu is open. It does not matter which tab I'm on. When I close the inventory again, the framerate recovers to 60.

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!

It happens anytime I do this.

This is a fairly heavily modded SE playthrough, but in my defense, it ran flawlessly on my previous Windows laptop. Now I'm running it on an M4 MacBook Pro, 16GB RAM. Spotify and Safari (5 tabs or so) are open but they shouldn't cause this. The laptop should be more than capable.

I wonder if maybe I faultily transferred some files from my Windows playthrough to my Mac? I can't imagine what else might cause this. I've recorded a video that I can share if the above isn't enough info. It'd be great if this could be looked into; I felt safe switching to Mac solely because I figured it would run SE Factorio well. And I trust that under normal circumstances it does — this is clearly not intended behavior.

Try if the issue persists when disabling the FlatUI mod. If yes, try disabling all mods, you can do this fast by editing the mod-list file.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Disabling FlatUI did not solve the issue, but disabling ColorUI did. I will post a comment on that mod. Having FlatUI enabled while ColorUI was disabled, also allowed for a smooth framerate. I will simply keep ColorUI disabled going forward. Thanks again!
