Electric network color differentiation in remote view.

Post by LordChristios »

TL;DR
Electric networks that are not connected to each other should be differentiated by color in the remote view screen.

What?

Why?
It would be much easier to manage multiple separate unconnected electric networks if they were differentiated by color on the map. Kind of like how rail sections are colored differently.

It's pretty much never required to keep separate electric networks, but I personally do it.

There's also the case where any player could accidentally make a cut somewhere within the mess of wires and all the sudden the base is electrically separated in two. The player, then, must realize that power is not consistent and then connect the two electric networks, which may or may not require careful searching. This could be alleviated by making it easier for the player to notice and follow, by coloring the certain section purple or yellow/white/whatever the rails use.
I can attest this has happened to me at least once.

Pretty please :D
Thank you
