Fulgora Starting Patch Size Bug?

I landed on Fulgora for the first time and the nearest patch has 25M scrap

Some of the immediate surrounding patches are half a million.

Another one I found is 50 million scrap.

Is this correct / expected behavior?

Fulgora has extremely rich patches on small vault islands, and poorer ones on the medium sized city ones.

Yep. This is expected.

There are three sizes of islands on Fulgora:

- Large, barren islands with plenty of building space but no scrap.
- Medium islands with a small amount of scrap for jump-starting a factory as well as a good amount of building space.
- Smaller vault islands with very dense scrap mines.

Each of the islands have trade offs to consider when starting up your first factory. It's a good idea to do some exploration before deciding where to settle.
