Contents decider combinator from map

I was playing what I thought was vanilla K2 on a computer where I could see the "contents" of the decider combinators from the map with "Alt" turned on. Now, I'm playing the same game on a different computer, and I don't have access to the other one. I generally don't use mods, so I really doubt that I had any extra mod that did that. Was I imagining being able to see the contents of the decider combinators from the map, or am I missing something on my current machine?

There is a setting in options, if you want to see combinators with alt view enabled, perhaps its not set for you?

That did it! It was a setting called "Show combinator settings in Alt-mode" under "Interface". Thanks so much!
