I've been running a headless server on a Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS server in a Docker container, but have encountered unexpected crashes multiple times. Sometimes it runs for an hour and crashes, and sometimes it crashes after just 5 minutes. There have also been some desyncs.
I play on the server with a friend of mine via a Tailscale (more information on https://tailscale.com/kb/1017/install)).

Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
This log shows it crashed in malloc - likely running out of RAM. Do you have any of the other log files?

Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
First of all, thanks for the quick reply!
I've added another log file to the attachments. This one was generated from a session after the first one I've uploaded.

Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
That log is showing it crashing inside the TransportBelt logic (completely unrelated to the first crash).

Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
Apologies, should've caught it before uploading it. Unfortunately that's all I have for now. I'm going to let the server run overnight and hopefully get some more info.
Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
Sorry, what I meant to imply is: beacuse the two crashes are not related it makes me think failing/failed hardware. Neither crash is one I've seen before and both are in places that execute multiple times per tick virtually every game tick. That makes me highly skeptical that there's any actual engine bug. Every time this kind of pattern has shown up in the past it was eventually traced to the persons hardware failing (bad RAM/bad CPU).

Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
Ran a stress test on the CPU and a memtest, but found no errors. Also checked if the CPU might overheat which was not the case (and checked fans and thermal paste to be sure).
Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
If you'd like, you can keep posting new crash logs. However, Factorio it turns out is a better test of hardware than purpose-built stress testing software. The past 10 years of Factorio has shown that to be true: Factorio will expose instabilities in peoples systems that they otherwise can't reproduce with memory/CPU testing software.

Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
Which is why Factorio is truly a great game
. But in all seriousness, thanks for the help so far. I will keep an eye out for any new crash logs and might test some things here and there on my own.
Re: [2.0.72] Crash running headless server
Update: Tried the exact same setup on another machine and it ran flawlessly. It's just as you've said that it's most likely a hardware issue rather than something wrong with the Factorio engine.
