[2.0.60] Spoilage doesn't move to output slot, deadlocking biochamber (if cloned?)

Post by DeadMG »

What did you do?
I'm using direct insertion for ingredients and a spoilage/nutrients belt around the outside. I've set up a spoilage filtered output inserter to remove spoilage on to this belt.
In case it's relevant, I'm playing Warptorio and I've placed some biochambers on the ground floor. These are teleported between surfaces with clone_area but no other changes as far as I can tell; recipe/machine prototypes are unchanged.
Additionally, the filtered inserters are Bob's Adjustable Inserters, but the ones that are involved do not have any angle adjustments.

What happened?
When ingredients in the biochambers spoil, they are not moved to the output slot, the spoilage isn't removed and the biochamber deadlocks.

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
The spoilage should be moved to the output slot and the inserter removes it on to the belt.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Most of the time, the spoilage works as expected, but it happened more than once on different recipes/biochambers. At a guess, it happens if the ingredients that were in the biochamber at the time of warping (clone_area) are the ones that spoil, otherwise it does not happen.

In the attached save, the player is right below the affected biochamber. See screenshots:

Sounds like an issue when cloning the entity which should be simple to fix.

This is now fixed for the next release. Note that it won't un-stuck the existing machines but it will prevent new ones from getting into this stuck state.

Thanks very much, it's simple enough to fix them manually when you notice it's broken
