The space platform incorrectly ignores some logistics requests from the cargo landing pad.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Park an empty space platform (SP) over Nauvis.
2. Empty the Nauvis cargo landing pad (CLP).
3. Set up a SP logistics request for 1 stack of X from Nauvis.
4. Set up a SP logistics request for 4 stacks of X from Gleba.
5. Set up CLP logistics request for 10 stacks of X.
6. Deposit 4 stacks of X into SP.
SP = space platform
CLP = Nauvis cargo landing pad
X = stack inserter
Expected behaviour:
- SP drops 3 stacks of X into CLP. This keeps the SP request for 1 stack of X fulfilled, and partially fulfills the CLP request for 10 stacks of X.
Actual behaviour:
- SP ignores the CLP request.
Gameplay consequences:
- It is not possible to simultaneously:
1. Set up the SP to pick up X from Gleba and deposit it at CLP.
2. Have this SP maintain a logistics request group that happens to includes 1 stack of X from Nauvis.
- Space platforms that do 'supply runs' to a distribution centre on Nauvis cannot use any logistics request groups that include the items they deliver in their supply runs.
- Space platform item delivery is effectively one-way.
This appears to be a bug, because if I remove the SP logistics request for 1 stack of X from Nauvis, then all 4 stacks drop to the CLP. In other words, the space platform is willing to drop all 4 stacks as long as ZERO stacks are requested for pickup from Nauvis, but will drop nothing if ONE stack is requested for pickup from Nauvis.
[2.0.63] Space platform not fulfilling some cargo landing pad requests
Re: [2.0.63] Space platform not fulfilling some cargo landing pad requests
Thanks for the report however this is working correctly. Platforms will not drop items in this manor that they are requesting.
