I thought I could do some space stuff with bugs on nauvis in wave defense, but currently the rocket isn't launching my platform into space since I assume it needs a target in SA.
I was hoping you could keep playing after launching a rocket, however 1) the wiki says the bugs stop attacking after you launch a rocket (i assume that's not changed, though i wish it was) and 2), the upgrades you buy do not include the new infinite researches (blue chips, LDS, etc), which is a sign to me that you can't really play the expansion and this game mode together.
In any case, the current version of wave defense mode is not allowing me to launch a rocket.
