Hello dear Factorio geeks! Novice player here with a question I've found no answer so far: how come I imported a few blueprints (city blocks, specifically train loaders/unloaders) and I now have them available in my crafting tab? I was after the Artillery techology in Space Age, just built my first space station, and noticed that I had way too new stuff belonging to planets I've of course, never visited.
It was not the first time I imported a blueprint, but don't know if I forced any "bypass unresearched technologies" or something like that?
More intriguing, the technologies still show up as unresearched in the tecnhology tree, so I can, at least, follow the path to get to the artillery (as an example), but would like to a) reset my available items to my current research level or b) find out what was the culprit? I'm guessing it was the stack inserter. But again: in other imports, I simply had ghosts on items I couldn't place, so I manually swapped with the ones I had.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Importing a blueprint unlocked a lot of techs I'm not supposed to have
Re: Importing a blueprint unlocked a lot of techs I'm not supposed to have
You can See the recipe, but if you try to place a machine down which uses it you should get something like this:
As you have already noticed, the Technology itself stays Locked until you have completed the prerequisites - and then the Machine will work.
Good Luck!
The machine's status shows as "Recipe not Researched", and it will refuse to process ingredients. As you have already noticed, the Technology itself stays Locked until you have completed the prerequisites - and then the Machine will work.
Good Luck!
