What?
Set an additional offset for blueprint book, that affect all absolute grid blueprints in it.Why?
When do I use absolute grid or relative grid snapping? I use absolute when the design "absolutely" requires to align with world coordinates(which is rare) or with other aboslute blueprints(from dependency). I use relative for most of the time, to easily drag and tile them but also flexibly choose where to put them.However, when a set of designs are used to fit together, even though they individually has the flexiblity to be relative grid, most of the time I paste them to align with each other:
1. this is not a drag & tile, relative grid works well with drag & tile, but do nothing when placing a group of different but related blueprints;
2. they depend on each other, so that I can say whichever was first placed determined all other's positions, like absolute grid;
3. but set them all to absolute grid loses some flexibility.
I think a simple solution would be let them work as absolute grid, but I can globlally change their offset easily to fit different locations, combining both grid types' advantage.
A good example is Nilaus's city block design where every blueprint should be in the same grid, but the grid is generally so large that its difficult to find a suiting location aligned just correctly with the specific absolute grid.
This are clearly done by some external blueprint tools to batch change their offset, but I want to keep 100% uptime of Factorio for my life
