[2.0.45] Parameterized blueprint always shows "unknown variable" warning

Post by Hares »

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Make a blueprint of smth
  2. Mark an item signal as a parameter
  3. Mark a value signal as a parameter with formula
  4. Enter formula relating to the previous parameter
OR
  1. Open existing, previously-valid blueprint that uses formulas based on item/recipe
  2. Hover on that formula
Expected:
  • Formula is white (no warnings shown)
  • Blueprint can be saved
  • Blueprint can be deployed
  • When deployed, formula is rendered correctly
Actual:
  • Formula is red with warning like "Unkown variale 'p2_r' at position 0 near 'p2_r * 25'"
  • Blueprint can be saved
  • Blueprint can be deployed
  • When deployed, formula is rendered correctly

Fulgora is the best planet. Vulcanus needs rework. Feel free to prove me wrong.

:D
I searched for "unkown variable".
That's another proof why we need to migrate to a more modern forums engine which has built-in duplicate protection. And reactions instead of "same here" or "+1". And post tags.
