Steps to reproduce:
- launch a fresh instance
- go to the mod browser
- un-exclude internal mods
- search for the "beacon interface" mod
- install & confirm
- wait for the game to relaunch
- go to the mod manager
- uncheck the "beacon interface" mod (and/or mark the mod for deletion)
- go to the explore tab
- search for the "circuit controlled beacon interface" mod
- install & confirm
- wait for the game to relaunch
Failed to load mods:
• circuit-controlled-beacon-interface
• Missing required dependency beacon-interface
Expected behavior: downloaded mods auto-enable themselves, enabling a mod that has installed (but disabled) dependencies will mark them enabled too, so installing a mod after having marked mods as disable after reboot (like when after having tested on a big savefile and you disable the entire modlist before testing the next thing) should cancel the deactivation of any required dependencies.
[raiguard] Downloading a mod should un-mark required dependencies from getting disabled after a reboot
Re: Downloading a mod should un-mark required dependencies from getting disabled after a reboot
+1 and as the current behavior sets the game up for a boot failure, this obviously is a bug report rather than a feature suggestion.
