[2.0.42] color tag on display panel doesn't work if the close tag is cut out.

We are aware of them, but do not have solutions that don't cause other issues. They go here in order not to take space in the main bug thread list.

[2.0.42] color tag on display panel doesn't work if the close tag is cut out.

On the second display panel the close tag is further than the "..." cut point. This causes it to be not rendered at all. I can understand it not being shown on the short version, but this causes color tag to not work at all.

Thanks for the report however I don't see a clear solution to this that won't balloon out of control complexity wise. The simple "answer" here is to just not use rich text colors/tags in display panel text.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Just to be clear;
i don't have an issue with display panel showing broken tag on the panel window. It also breaks the displayed message on the actual map as well. Since it shows the full message and have both open and close tags, i assume it should render properly. But it doesn't.
