Every few minutes my game has a slight stutter.
It feels similar to an autosave (though it happens even when autosave is completely disabled).
Using the f4 debug settings I have noticed that the culprit is "AMBIENT UPDATE" (what is that anyway?) which after a stutter reads somewhere around 150 to 450.
This happens consistently, every game session, no matter what planet I'm on or what I'm doing.
I have zero mods installed.
I have tried with vsync both on and off to no effect.
Usually I play with no programs other than Factorio open on my computer, "signed out of friends & chat" on Steam, and with no overlays running that I know of.
I have 60 UPS at all times and I recall this happening even when my factory was quite small (200 SPM-ish).
I have attached a performance log file. During the game session all I did was log in and walk around my Gleba base for a few minutes in a spidertron and opened remote view on a few planets / space platforms. After 2-3 minutes I noticed a stutter so I checked the debug menu to confirm that ambient update showed a high number and then maybe 30 seconds later I logged out. So towards the end of the log file there is definitely a stutter to analyze (I don't know how to interpret it myself).
I also attached my save file, a few screenshots of task manager, and screenshots of the f4 menu stats taken just after two different stutters.
Thank you very much!
