multiplayer accessing other players inventory then walking away doesn't close the inventory

When you click on another player it opens their inventory. if you then walk away you can still access the other player's inventory until you close it.

Thanks for the report. This is not a bug: this is a feature of being an admin in multiplayer. If you don't want to do that, simply don't do that.
