I found a minor issue related to reading the power consumption of a machine. I use very normal settings. Display 1920x1080, UI size 100%, no mods.

In the vertical tooltip panel, since there are 8 possible items for the cryogenic plant content when producing quantum processors, the 8th content type is shown on a new line.

As a result, when using remote view, it is impossible to know the power consumption of the cryogenic plant. I even tried to look into the "super secret" settings ("the rest") to disable the machine display image in the vertical tooltip, but couldn't find the option.

If this is considered not a bug, is there any way to know the power consumption of the machine?

You could try setting the tooltip to show next to the cursor, see Settings/Interface/Entity tooltip on the side; or disable the minimap (Settings/Interface/Show minimap).

Duplicate of 119141 Thruster side panel doesn't fit screen on default UI scale.

Thank you for your input, unchecking Entity tooltip on the side works as a temporary solution. I would not keep this option permanently, though, as I don't like adding a giant windows to my cursor.

Maybe I will make a separate suggestion topic for a setting that removes the entity preview (see the crossed part of the image in my attachment), as, in my opinion, it doesn't add any value (the entity is already visible where the cursor is pointing, in the main screen). I feel like there are many other easy way to solve it; for example
  1. Why is there too many line returns in the recipe icons? See attachment below
  2. Removing the description of the entity (it can still be read in the factoriopedia)
  3. Putting the beacon icon and the number of beacons on the same line as the label "Beacons:"
  4. Decreasing the size of the entity preview
  5. Adding a scoll bar that can be interacted with using ctrl + scroll wheel
  6. Adding an auto scroll animation (pause 2 seconds, scroll at a speed of x pixel per second, pause 2 second, repeat (never scroll up, scrolling up instead of jumping is a terrible UI design)
Options 1 could be a quick bug fix, Option 2 could be as simple as a new UI setting. Option 3 looks doable but you might have to account for the beacon icon height.

This is driving me nuts as well. I have to use UI scale of 125% to be able to click anything with any level of reliability - at 100% I miss my click target more than 30% of the time, as they are too physically small to accurately aim at - and so not only are a large number of tooltips cut off for me - pretty much any assembler-type machine I can never see the power consumption of, for example - but I cannot even fix this with a higher resolution unless I go out and buy a giant (and absurdly expensive) 30+ inch display. Not to mention that as the OP mentions here even at 100% there are things getting cut off, and 1920x1080 is still the standard screen size, and anything supporting larger is an expensive premium item (to say nothing of the GPU required to drive one in most games).
