Allow parameterizing item requests

Currently, blueprints with building that request items directly can easily be made, but I have not been able to parameterize the item requests. It would be nice if this were possible.

For example, I made the following blueprint by editing the JSON (turret with parameterized ammo)

but when importing it into Factorio the ammo parameter is not selectable, and when checking the parameterization settings of the blueprint in-game, the UI says "impossible to create selection button for the combination of usages". I'm not entirely sure if the JSON is "correct" as I could not find documentation for parameters.
Have you considered using flow routers instead of balancers?
Roboport + Land mines > Behemoth Worm > (Legendary) Flamethrower turret
