Toolbelt depending on surface

Post by FunMaker »

TL;DR
Please add the option to bind toolbelt rows (or toolbelt configuration) to surfaces

What?
There should be an option to switch the toolbelt configuration based on what surface you are (or what you are looking at in the remote view.). It could be, that you setup 4 rows for a planet and the game switches them automatically. There might be a default configuration that will be used if no config for the specific planet is setup.
Why?
The planets differ from each other in such a way, that different entities are mainly build. On Fulgora you might not need belts. On Aquilo there is not much need to have logistics on the toolbelt. Nuclear Reactors are mainly focused on Nauvis (and space platforms). Switching toolbelt configuration manually is tedious or you regulary have to replace single items on the toolbelt (Biochamber on Gleba vs Electromagnetic Plant on Fulgora vs Foundry on Vulcanus).

There are hotkeys like shift+1 or shift+2 and so on by default to access the 1rst or 2nd "quickbar". Or one to "rotate them". So if you have several of them configured, you can press it several time and it cycle through the configurations.

Now the suggestion for "Having it automated per planet" if players configure it that way ? i see no problem with that :)
