After returning to Nauvis for the first time with the Mech Armor, I found that one particular area causes the mech armor to disappear and my inventory (from its added capacity) to drop. Repeatable from different directions.
Video clip of running towards the oil refinery and the suit disappearing. If I move the refinery, the blank concrete region causes the issue. Save file standing next to it.
