Via unlocking new plantes, via needing more end game, heck, even post game, materials, you can create new bacterials
And consuming iron or copper one, you can create other ores, like Homium, even uranium.
New Land for planting. Just like with bitter nest, you'll need to constantly "feed" the soil. But what's special about this soil? You can place it anywhere there is land already(meaning Aquila, and space aren't), and you can growth on it
New fruits, who's juice, can be used to restore the "timmer health" of any other spoiling item
Fruit that can be used as a poison mist, aka, just like pollution, and of course you need to keep producing to increase the area, and, anything not imune to poison, will start taking damage, dying even. This is good to get rid of trees. However, this could also have a hidden function where it removed any and all decoration incase we suffer from UPS drop or simple don't like that something that got destroyed 100 hours ago, is stil there unless we build something over it
Special items that, if used on last planet, on a planet speficit to Aquila (like how the lighing rods are for Fulgora) will create a heat area, as such, you still need to feed that pant/tree, but you will insted get a nice area that's heated up
New fruit that, combined with the bacteria I mentioned, will upgrate the quality of what ore will be produced.
New fruits that have the spitters "slow down" ability. Similar to teslar but the difference being that they are mines and not turrents.
New Trees that take in pollution and produce coal or similar
New trees that take in oil or similar solution, and output other liquits. and the way it works is that you build them on the water, so the roots are constantly absorbing water and producing something else. Like taking heavy oil and giving you petrolium while skipping light oil or other similar. And this to be even further enhanced by adding oils and other liquits on Aquila. And yes, since you need to keep the trees warm and feed them, it's a very good ideea.
And speaking of good ideea, the fruit to restore the spoilage timer of items, is a very good ideea exactly because, the more fruits you build, the more flexibility you wish to have.

Some good ideas. I don't think there's enough new stuff in space age. Mostly just new ways of doing the same thing.

I think this would be an interesting mod, but too much of a change for the base game.
