- What did you do?
Tried to deconstruct the crashed spaceship and its various parts using bots.

- What happened?
You cannot select the ship with the deconstruction tool, and therefore the bots are not dispatched to dismantle it.

- What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
In precise terms, I would've expected them to just "destroy" the ship. I'm guessing this has something to do with how the spaceship itself doesn't return any parts when deconstructed, a feature which has always felt a *little* odd. Regardless, I would've expected the bots to "clean up" the wreck as it were, picking up any of the components that may have been left inside.

- Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
I removed all mods, installed only an early bot start for sake of testing and the ship just isn't tagged by the deconstruction planner. So I would guess this always happens.

This is hardly the highest priority of things, most people will deconstruct the spaceship long before they acquire bots, but consistency is the word here, and it's odd that there's this loose smattering of entities that can't be deconstructed by bots.

Not a bug. Crashed spaceship pieces are special/unique. See 123145 Cannot force build over or remote right click remove spaceship parts.
