Change Volcanic Rock Decoratives to not look like Coal

Really simple thing, but can you tell where the coal is?

The areas outlined in green have coal, the areas in red do not. However, both areas contain small & tiny volcanic rock decoratives/

I can still tell which is which by moving the ghost mining drill closer:

As you can see the coal ore (circled in green) is lighter, whilst the volcanic rocks (in red) are a darker colour.
But it's very subtle and requires I move my mining drill over the areas to check.
