[2.0.23] Space Age personal logistics, trash unrequested

Post by ImPrometheus »

Not sure if this is a bug or a weird feature, but...

What I wanted to do:
I wanted to configure personal logistics so that "trash unrequested items" is always enabled. However, there are certain items that I use rarely but want to keep in my inventory temporarily when I take them from a chest or craft them. Basically, I want personal logistics to ignore these items. For example, items like radars — I craft them and place them, but I don’t want to keep them in my inventory all the time. This also includes blueprints, deconstruction planners, upgrade planners, and blueprint books.

What I did: A logical solution seemed to be setting the required amount of these items to 0 and the maximum amount to infinity. This pairs nicely with the "take into account any quality" option :any-quality: :
take into account any quaily
take into account any quaily

So, I configured it like this:

required ammount of items to 0 and maximum amout to infinity

required ammount of items to 0 and maximum amout to infinity but with any quality

What happened:
Personal logistics still moved these items into the trash slots. :(
Leave my blueprints alone D:
What I expected to happen:
I expected the items to be ignored by personal logistics, obviously.

I saw a nice solution in the replies to the original post. It suggests using a maximum value of 1M or another large number instead of infinity (inf), and it works.
