[2.0.21] Crash on autosave completion

I have a reoccuring problem with auto-saves crashing the game upon completion.

Seems to happen when I am doing something within menus during auto-save but this is a bit in-conclusive.
Sometimes the autosave can be loaded. Sometimes it produces an I/O error and wont load.

Thanks for the report however there is nothing that we can do about this. Something on your end is messing with the save files when Factorio tries to write to them and it prevents it from saving. Most likely causes are antivirus software.

Any other ideas btw, as I am only running Windows 11? Do you know of any way to troubleshoot this on my end?

It could also be that the disk is failing - you could try running a disk check and see if it finds anything.

I have just realised that I have the steamapps install on a SATA SSD (D:) and the saves are happening on the M.2 SSD C: drive.
Which one is the likely one to be failing? I am guessing its C: restricting save access, but this is just my layman's guess. Can I change auto-save location to somewhere on the D: drive to test?
